Do I need an account to read?

No. Every story on Astral Novels can be read without registering. An account is only needed if you want to leave comments or bookmark stories from the story page.

Is it free?

Yes. All stories currently on the site are free to read in full, and there is no paywall on any chapter. We may add a small number of clearly-marked advertisements in the future to help cover running costs, but advertising will never block access to a story.

Are the novels finished?

Yes — all 22 novels currently in the library are complete. You can start one today and read through to the final chapter without waiting for an update.

Who writes these stories?

Our own authors, publishing under pen names. Silas Drake writes 13 of the titles, mostly fantasy and progression fantasy; Orwell Zhang writes 9, leaning toward frontier survival, historical settings and adventure. Each author name on a story page links to their full catalogue.

Are these translations?

The novels were originally written in Chinese and are published here in English, so a wider audience can read them. They are our own work, not re-uploads of other authors’ books.

How do I find something to read?

Use the genre bar at the top of the home page, or browse the full Library, where you can filter and sort the catalogue. Each story page shows its genre, chapter count, synopsis and author, and includes a first-chapter preview so you can try before committing.

How often is new content added?

New novels and chapters are added on a rolling basis. The home page highlights recent releases, and each story page lists its chapters in order with the newest at the top.

Can I read on my phone?

Yes. The site is built to work on phones and tablets as well as desktop, and text size follows your browser settings. There is no app to install — the site works in any modern mobile browser.

How do I save my place in a story?

Your browser remembers the page you are on, so reopening the same chapter works. If you create an account, you can also bookmark stories from the story page and keep a list across devices.

Can I leave comments?

Yes, on story pages, once you register an account. Comments are moderated: spam, abuse, spoilers posted out of context and impersonation are removed. See the Terms of Service for the full rules.

Can I share, quote or republish a story?

Sharing a link is always welcome. Quoting a short excerpt with credit is fine. Republishing, translating or redistributing a story in whole or in part needs written permission — write to partner@astralnovels.com.

Can I submit my own novel?

Not at the moment. The library is limited to work by our own authors, so we are not accepting submissions. If that changes, it will be announced here.

Something is broken. What do I do?

Email contact@astralnovels.com with the story name, the chapter number and what went wrong. Screenshots help a lot. See the contact page for the full list of addresses.

How do I ask for my data to be removed?

Write to privacy@astralnovels.com. The Privacy Policy explains what data the site stores, how long it is kept, and how we handle access, correction and deletion requests — we respond within 30 days.
