These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of astralnovels.com (“the Site”, “we”, “us”). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Who we are

Astral Novels is an independent web-novel library. The fiction published here is our own original work, released under pen names, and is offered free of charge to readers. Questions about these Terms go to legal@astralnovels.com.

Using the site

You may read and browse the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• Copy, republish, mirror, or redistribute the stories on this Site, in whole or in substantial part, without written permission from the rights holder.
• Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download content in a way that degrades the Site for other readers or imposes unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
• Attempt to interfere with the Site’s security, availability or integrity, including by probing, scanning or testing vulnerabilities without permission.
• Circumnavigate any access control, rate limit or technical protection we put in place.
• Post content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, spam, or that impersonates another person.
• Use the Site to infringe anyone else’s intellectual property — see our DMCA Policy.

Accounts and comments

Reading does not require an account. If you register in order to comment or bookmark, you are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. We may remove comments, edit posts, or suspend accounts that break these Terms, without prior notice. Comments are moderated; publishing one does not guarantee it stays up.

By posting a comment you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and store that comment on the Site. You keep ownership of what you write.

Content and copyright

The stories, cover art, titles and descriptions on the Site are protected by copyright. Short quotation with attribution is welcome; longer excerpting, translation, adaptation or republication requires written permission — write to partner@astralnovels.com. If you believe something on the Site infringes your copyright, see our DMCA Policy, which explains how to file a notice and how we respond.

Availability and changes to the library

We try to keep the Site running, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. Stories may be moved, edited, corrected, or removed; chapter numbering may change as we fix structural mistakes. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. Where a complete novel is removed, we will try to say so on the story page rather than simply leaving a dead link.

Advertising

Reading is free. We may display a limited number of clearly-marked advertisements in the future to help cover the cost of running the Site. Advertising will never gate access to a chapter. We do not endorse advertised products, and we are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.

Third-party links

The Site may link to external websites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Following a link is at your own discretion.

Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

No warranty

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising out of your use of — or inability to use — the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which the operator of the Site is established. Nothing in these Terms removes any rights you have under the consumer or data-protection law of your own country, and those rights take precedence where they conflict with anything written here.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated version, so please check back if the date has moved. Material changes will be announced on the Site where practical.
